The purpose of the Trauma System Fund Authority Act is to provide funding to sustain existing trauma centers, support the development of new trauma centers and develop a statewide trauma system. History: Laws 2006, ch. 13, § 2. Effective dates. — Laws 2006, ch. 13 contained no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, was effective May 17, 2006, 90 days after adjournment of the legislature.
