A person may acquire an automated external defibrillator if the person has met all the requirements of Section 24-10C-4 NMSA 1978. Nothing in this section limits the right of a person to practice a health profession that the person is otherwise authorized to practice in accordance with the laws of New Mexico. History: Laws 1999, ch. 94, § 5; 2007, ch. 163, § 3. The 2007 amendment, effective June 15, 2007, changed "AED" to "automated external defibrillator" and provided that a person may acquire an automated external defibrillator if he has met the requirements of Section 24-10C-4 NMSA 1978.
