The public education commission is composed of ten members to be elected from districts established by law. History: Laws 2021 (2nd S.S.), ch. 3, § 2. Effective dates. — Laws 2021 (2nd S.S.), ch. 3 contained no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, was effective March 17, 2022, 90 days after adjournment of the legislature.
