Each scholarship is for a period of one semester. A scholarship may be renewed as long as the eligible student continues to meet the conditions of eligibility, until the eligible student graduates from a public post-secondary educational institution or tribal college. History: Laws 2019, ch. 193, § 11. Effective dates. — Laws 2019, ch. 193 contained no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, was effective June 14, 2019, 90 days after the adjournment of the legislature.
