Chapter 21, Article 21I NMSA 1978 may be cited as the "Minority Doctoral Loan Repayment Assistance Act". History: Laws 1990 (1st S.S.), ch. 8, § 1; 1991, ch. 262, § 22; 1994, ch. 79, § 1; 2017, ch. 83, § 1. The 2017 amendment, effective June 16, 2017, changed the Minority Doctoral Assistance Loan for Service Program Act to the Minority Doctoral Loan Repayment Assistance Act; after "Minority Doctoral", added "Loan Repayment", and after "Assistance", deleted "Loan for Service Program". The 1994 amendment, effective May 18, 1994, substituted "Article 21I" for "Article 21I-1" and inserted "Act" following "Program". The 1991 amendment, effective June 14, 1991, rewrote this section which read "This act may be cited as the 'Minority Doctoral Assistance Act'".
