Senate district forty is composed of Sandoval county precincts 34, 37, 39, 47, 50, 58, 60, 61, 63, 67 through 71, 80, 82 through 85, 100, 101, 103, 104, 109 through 111, 115, 116, 118, 124 through 127, 134, 136, 137, 142 through 146, 149, 150, 152, 155 and 156. IV, § 23, was effective March 17, 2022, 90 days after adjournment of the legislature.
