Senate district twenty-seven is composed of Chaves county precincts 1 through 13, 17, 18, 20 through 22, 40, 41 and 43 through 46; Curry county precincts 5, 28 through 31, 33 and 36; De Baca county; Lea county precincts 2 and 3; and Roosevelt county. History: Laws 2021 (2nd S.S.), ch. 7, § 33. Effective dates. — Laws 2021 (2nd S.S.), ch. 7 contained no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, was effective March 17, 2022, 90 days after adjournment of the legislature.
