Senate district five is composed of Los Alamos county precincts 9 through 23; Rio Arriba county precincts 5, 10 through 14, 25 through 28, 36 through 40, 45 through 48 and 56 through 69; Sandoval county precinct 51; and Santa Fe county precincts 1, 58, 79 and 118. History: Laws 2021 (2nd S.S.), ch. 7, § 11. Effective dates. — Laws 2021 (2nd S.S.), ch. 7 contained no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, was effective March 17, 2022, 90 days after adjournment of the legislature.
