A. Subject to the authority of the state cultural affairs officer, the executive officer of the division and museum shall be the "director" of the division and museum. B. The director shall be appointed by the state cultural affairs officer with the approval of the governor from a list of candidates provided by the board. C. The director shall be a person with previous administrative experience in a museum or institution of related character and shall have a degree, or the equivalent thereof, in one or more fields of agriculture from an institution of higher learning.
