A. In order to acquire the following property in Santa Fe county for use as state agency offices, the facilities management division of the general services department may purchase and renovate, equip and furnish the educational retirement board building on camino de los Marquez in Santa Fe for use by the public regulation commission. B. The acquisition of property pursuant to Subsection A of this section shall be made at a price not to exceed the value of the property established by the taxation and revenue department using generally accepted appraisal techniques for the type of property purchased. Effective dates. — Laws 2023, ch. 34 contained no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, was effective June 16, 2023, 90 days after adjournment of the legislature.
