The prisoner of war and missing in action flag shall be displayed on legal public holidays in New Mexico at all public buildings with flagpoles owned by the state in accordance with rules adopted by the veterans' services department. History: Laws 1991, ch. 39, § 1; 2001, ch. 319, § 21; 2004, ch. 19, § 23. The 2004 amendment, effective May 19, 2004, amended this section to change "veterans' service commission" to "veterans' services department". The 2001 amendment, effective July 1, 2001, substituted "New Mexico veterans' service commission" for "general service department" and made a stylistic change.
