The Revised Uniform Law on Notarial Acts does not affect the validity or effect of a notarial act performed before the effective date of the Revised Uniform Law on Notarial Acts or any amendments to the Revised Uniform Law on Notarial Acts. History: Laws 2021, ch. 21, § 30; 2023, ch. 110, § 27. The 2023 amendment, effective June 16, 2023, provided that the Revised Uniform Law on Notarial Acts does not affect the validity or effect of a notarial act performed before the effective date of any amendments to the Revised Uniform Law on Notarial Acts; and added "or any amendments to the Revised Uniform Law on Notarial Acts". Applicability. — Laws 2021, ch. 21, § 37 provided that the provisions of Laws 2021, ch. 21 apply to notarial acts performed in this state on and after January 1, 2022.
