"Purchase order" means the document issued by the state purchasing agent or a central purchasing office that directs a contractor to deliver items of tangible personal property, services or construction. History: Laws 1984, ch. 65, § 50; 2001, ch. 292, § 2. The 2001 amendment, effective July 1, 2001, deleted "pursuant to an existing contract" from the end of the section.
