New Mexico Code § 12-11-4

Disaster successors to the governor

If the governor and all of his constitutional successors are unavailable, the holders of the following offices shall be the disaster successors in the order named:
A. the attorney general;
B. the state auditor;
C. the commissioner of public lands;
D. the state treasurer.
