When a hazardous duty officer is under administrative investigation and a determination is made to commence a criminal investigation, the officer shall be immediately notified of the investigation and shall be afforded all the protections set forth in the bill of rights of the United States constitution and of the constitution of New Mexico. History: Laws 2010, ch. 62, § 7. Effective dates. — Laws 2010, ch. 62, § 10 made the Hazardous Duty Officers' Employer-Employee Relations Act effective July 1, 2010.
