If the same individual is a candidate at a general election for both the expiring term and the succeeding term, his name shall appear but once on the ballot, and the name of the office, followed by the words, "full and expiring terms". The 1999 amendment, effective June 18, 1999, deleted "ballot; write-in" at the end of the section heading; deleted the Subsection A designation; and deleted former Subsection B, which related to write-in ballots.
