A. At least three days before preparing any type of voting machine for an election, the county clerk shall send notice to the county chair of each political party having a candidate on the ballot in the election. The notice shall state the times when and places where the voting machines will be prepared. B. Party and organization representatives, election observers and candidates may be present at the preparation, inspection and sealing of the voting machines to ensure compliance with the Election Code.
