As used in the Election Code, "election-related organization" means an organization registered with the secretary of state that is involved in election monitoring or voter turnout activities, but does not include a qualified political party in an election in which the political party is represented on the ballot. History: Laws 2011, ch. 137, § 2; 2019, ch. 212, § 1. The 2019 amendment, effective April 3, 2019, revised the definition of "election-related organization" as used in the Election Code; and added "but does not include a qualified political party in an election in which the political party is represented on the ballot".
