58:4A-20. Powers, rights of department 16. The department shall have the power to make such inspections and take such samples as may be deemed necessary for the investigation of the construction, sealing, and repair of wells throughout the State. The department shall also have the right to enter upon any and all property for the purpose of obtaining information about wells, whether idle, in use or abandoned.
