58:10-27. Action by commission to prevent escape of pipe line contents; notice The commission, if in its opinion any pipe line is so constructed that there is danger of the escape of the contents thereof into any fresh water of this state, shall give notice in writing of such opinion to the owners or users of the pipe line, specifying the location and extent of the portion thereof which, in its opinion, is so constructed, and naming a time and place to hear the owners or users on the subject. This notice may be served on a corporation by service on any of its officers, agents, or servants.
