54:5-104.58. Severance upon filing of answer If an action is severed by reason of the filing of an answer as to a parcel or parcels of land, the plaintiff shall be liable for and shall pay to the clerk of said court the fees and costs as in the case of the commencement and prosecution of a new, separate and distinct action.
