54:4-8.65 Rebates, credits not subject to legal process; exceptions. 9. The homestead rebates and credits authorized under this act shall not be subject to garnishment, attachment, execution or other legal process, except as provided in section 1 of P.L.1981, c.239 (C.54A:9-8.1), or except for an income withholding order issued pursuant to P.L.1981, c.417 (C.2A:17-56.8 et al.), nor shall the payment thereof be anticipated.
