54:4-121.1. Poll tax, cancellation of Whenever poll taxes are in arrears for a period of at least ten years, any municipality may be resolution adopted at a regular meeting of its governing body cancel the said poll tax, and any and all interest or other charges due thereon, and release the collector of any responsibility for the collection of the said poll taxes.
