54:1-44. Use of property before sale; use of proceeds; repairs Until the commissioner shall sell any property, real and personal, by him acquired under the provisions of this article, he may rent or lease the same on the best terms he can obtain, and may also appropriate and use so much of the moneys so collected as he may deem necessary to insure, protect and take care of such property, real and personal, and generally to manage and keep the same in good condition and repair.
