52:4B-5 Duties, compensation, employees. 5. The agency is authorized to appoint and fix the duties and compensation of such officers, examiners, and other experts as may be necessary for carrying out its functions under this act, and the provisions of section 4 of P.L.1970, c.74 (C.52:17B-100) shall be applicable to these employees. The agency may, subject to Title 11A of the New Jersey Statutes, "Civil Service," appoint and fix the duties and compensation of such other assistants and employees as are necessary. The compensation fixed pursuant to this section shall be within the limits of the funds appropriated or otherwise made available to the agency for that purpose.
