52:27EE-29 Division of Mental Health Advocacy; established. 29. Division of Mental Health Advocacy; established. a. There is hereby established in the Office of the Public Defender a Division of Mental Health Advocacy to be under the supervision of the Director of the Division of Mental Health Advocacy. b. The division is hereby designated as the State's mental health protection and advocacy agency. The division shall have all the powers necessary to carry out its responsibilities as required to qualify for federal funding as the State protection and advocacy agency.
