52:27D-25ii Demonstration, operation of firefighting equipment. 1. Notwithstanding any law, rule or regulation to the contrary, for educational purposes fire department or districts may conduct demonstrations of firefighting equipment or apparatus for officers and employees of the State or any county or municipality and any agency or instrumentality thereof, in which said officers or employees may operate the equipment or apparatus, provided they are directly supervised by a person certified to operate the equipment or apparatus and reasonable measures have been taken to ensure the safety of the operator.
