52:27C-12. Policies and programs The department, through its division of commerce, shall formulate comprehensive economic policies for the development and use of natural and economic resources of the State. It shall organize and operate programs for: a. The co-operation of employers and employees. b. The improvement of business and working conditions. c. The centralization, collection and preparation of statistics and researches of practical social and economic significance in this State. d. The development of technical services and information useful to small business units. e. The increase of employment opportunities and encouragement of free private enterprise.
