52:27B-70. Director; appointment; removal The administrative head of the Division of Local Government shall be the director who shall be appointed by the Governor by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to serve until the next Governor shall be elected and qualified and until the director's successor shall be appointed and qualified, but the Governor shall have the power to remove the director for cause.
