52:17C-7 Public safety answering points. 7. No provision of this act shall be construed to prohibit in any manner the formation of multi-agency, multi-jurisdictional, regional or county-wide public safety answering points. The formation of public safety answering points that serve groups of municipalities is encouraged in the interest of reducing cost and increasing the efficiency of administration.
