52:16-7. Seal of secretary of state; validity of sealed instruments The seal of the secretary of state now in use shall be continued to be used until otherwise provided, and shall remain in the custody of the secretary of state. All commissions, writs, process and other proceedings and instruments of writings, certificates and exemplifications, required to be sealed by the secretary of state, shall be valid and effectual when sealed with the seal of said secretary.
