52:14-17.33. Annual appropriations; limitation upon obligation of state; remission of premiums The Legislature shall annually make appropriations to cover the expense of procuring the benefits contracts and for the other purposes of this act. No obligation of the State shall be incurred under this act except within the limits of available appropriations. Premiums or periodic charges for such contracts payable to carriers from appropriated funds and from the health benefits fund shall be remitted to said carriers at intervals not less frequent than monthly.
