48:3-60.2 BPU to provide equal opportunity for certain types of funding incentives for businesses. 1. Notwithstanding any law, rule, regulation or order to the contrary, the Board of Public Utilities shall provide equal opportunity for businesses in all areas of the State that pay the societal benefits charge that is imposed pursuant to section 12 of P.L.1999, c.23 (C.48:3-60) to apply for, and receive, incentives or funding under programs that are financed by that charge.
