48:13A-7.28. Adjustment of rates 5. a. The solid waste disposal rates collected by a privately-owned sanitary landfill facility may be adjusted upon 30 days' notice to current customers and publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the service area once a week for two consecutive weeks, with the first notice being 30 days in advance of the effective date of the adjustments, and following their effective date the rates shall be posted in a prominent location at the entrance to the privately-owned sanitary landfill facility. b. The notice of solid waste disposal rate adjustments shall be filed with the department within three days of their effective date. L.2003,c.169,s.5.
