45:16-9.9. Rules and regulations The board shall conduct an investigation and ascertain the facts relating to the practice of veterinary medicine, surgery and dentistry for the purpose of determining the need for, and the desirability of, rules to promote the safety, protection and welfare of the public and to effectuate the purposes of this chapter and to aid the board in the performance of its powers and duties hereunder, and the board shall thereupon make and promulgate rules and regulations for the said purposes.
