44:4-86. Investigation and supervision by welfare board The county welfare board shall: a. Investigate every application for relief; b. Supervise by periodic visitation every person receiving such relief; c. Devise ways and means for bringing persons unable to maintain themselves to self-support; and d. Keep full and complete records of such investigation, supervision, relief and rehabilitation.
