44:4-31. Working expense fund The board of chosen freeholders shall provide and maintain, however, a working expense fund for the use of the welfare board, raised and collected as other expenses are required by this chapter to be provided. Payment therefrom shall be made out of the county treasury on the voucher of the secretary-treasurer of the welfare board.
