43:18-14. Application for retirement An applicant for retirement shall apply therefor in writing to the board of trustees of the pension fund. The application shall be granted if it is acted upon favorably by a majority of the board and if all charges and dues against the applicant, as shown by the books of the fund, have been paid in full.
