40:80-10. Corporate existence and name continued The corporate existence of any municipality, adopting this subtitle shall be continued and its corporate name and seal shall not be changed by such adoption, and all laws, general or special, relating to such municipality shall, except so far as inconsistent with this subtitle, apply to such municipality and it shall exercise the powers and duties thereby conferred and imposed.
