40:62-34.8. Emergency appropriations Any municipality, by resolution, declaring an existence of an emergency adopted by a vote of two-thirds of all the members of the governing body may make emergency appropriations in any fiscal year after the adoption of the budget for such year for any purpose which was not foreseen at the time of the adoption of such budget or for which adequate provision was not made in such budget provided said emergency appropriation or appropriations are within the provisions of sections 40:62-32 and 40:62-33 of the Revised Statutes.
