40:62-116. Joint ownership The waterworks acquired by the commission appointed in pursuance of section 40:62-109 of this title, whether by a single purchaser or two or more purchasers or by one, or more than one, condemnation proceeding, shall be the property of the municipalities making the application or applications for the appointment of such commission, excepting any municipality or municipalities which may have withdrawn as hereinbefore provided, and authorizing the issuance of bonds, and the municipalities joining therein, as if they constituted a single municipality.
