40:48-28. Oaths administered; perjury A member of the committee may administer oaths to all witnesses appearing before it. A person who shall willfully and corruptly testify falsely to a material matter upon oath administered by a member of the committee, upon such investigation or inquiry, shall be guilty of perjury.
