40:23-8.3. Protecting roads against erosion by tidewater Any county of the sixth class may expend any sum not exceeding twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00), in any one year, for the protection of county roads from erosion by tidewater; provided, that no part of such sum shall be used for any work, labor or materials upon any structure or work located more than two thousand feet from the road to be protected.
