40:23-22. Inspectors; appointment, compensation and qualifications The board of chosen freeholders providing by resolution for the inspection of electrical wires, appliances and currents for furnishing light, heat and power pursuant to section 40:23-20 of this title shall appoint and fix the compensation of the inspector or inspectors, who shall have a practical and technical knowledge of the construction and operation of interior electrical wiring and appliances.
