4:9-28. Penalty for violations or interference A person who shall: a. Sell, offer or expose for sale any package of legume inoculant which does not comply with the provisions of this article; or b. Interfere with any official employed in the enforcement of this article-- Shall be liable to a penalty of not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) for each offense, to be sued for and recovered in a civil action by and in the name of the department. All penalties recovered under this article shall be paid into the State treasury.
