39:4-36.4 Identification of problem intersections. 2. The Commissioner of Transportation shall identify intersections controlled by a traffic control signal where making a right turn upon "Stop" or "Caution" signals presents demonstrated pedestrian safety problems. If an intersection identified by the commissioner is under State jurisdiction, the commissioner shall prohibit drivers from making right turns upon "Stop" or "Caution" signals at the intersection. If an intersection identified by the commissioner is under municipal or county authority, the commissioner shall request that the relevant authority prohibit drivers from making right turns upon "Stop" or "Caution" signals at the intersection.
