39:3C-4 Permanent registration number. 4. Once a registration number is assigned, it shall remain with the registered snowmobile, all-terrain vehicle, or dirt bike until the snowmobile, all-terrain vehicle, or dirt bike is destroyed, abandoned or permanently removed from the State, or until changed or terminated by the chief administrator.
