39:3-10.28. Power of director to make agreements, arrangements, declarations The director may enter into or make agreements, arrangements, or declarations to carry out the provisions of this act. The director may also enter into an agreement or arrangement with the duly authorized representative of another state, the federal government, or province concerning licensing or testing of commercial motor vehicle operators, the exchange of information concerning operators, and their operating history. Such arrangements shall, in the judgment of the director, be in the best interest of this State and its citizens, keeping in mind the public safety benefits that flow to this State from a nationwide system for regulating commercial motor vehicle operators.
