38A:3-10. Fees for services 38A:3-10. The Adjutant General may demand and receive, for the services herein enumerated, except for those in proof of pension, establishment of veteran status, exemption from jury duty, or in lieu of lost discharges, the following fees: (a) For every search made in his office for the military record of any member or former member of the armed forces, including any member of the American Merchant Marine during World War II who is declared by the United States Department of Defense to be eligible for federal veterans' benefits, the sum of $1.00. (b) For the furnishing of every certified copy of such record, the sum of $2.00. The Adjutant General shall keep a true record and account of fees received under the provisions of this section and shall pay the same into the State Treasury in the manner prescribed by law.
