30:4D-17.13. Responsibility for preadmission screening A skilled nursing or intermediate care facility is responsible for ensuring that preadmission screening has been performed with respect to every individual who, at the time of application for admission to that facility, is eligible for medical assistance under P.L. 1968, c. 413 (C. 30:4D-1 et seq.) or will become eligible within six months following admission, as a condition of reimbursement by the Medicaid program established pursuant to P.L. 1968, c. 413 (C. 30:4D-1 et seq.) for care provided to the individual in that facility.
